Beth has been raising awareness about the hazards of asbestos and illnesses caused by it since 2013. She has a background in producing and directing and currently imparts her knowledge to students at a private university in Michigan. Having served as a committed caregiver for several years, Beth is enthusiastic about assisting individuals who have been impacted by severe losses, including those affected by mesothelioma.

Beth Swantek is a Michigan-based media professional with over 30 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary.

She began her career as a broadcast journalist in northern Michigan and Dallas, and later served in a mission agency, producing an award-winning documentary in India and Thailand. Today, Beth works as a freelance writer, producer, and director, specializing in scriptwriting, articles, and white papers for corporate and non-profit organizations. She also teaches at Lawrence Technological University's four-year media degree program in southeast Michigan.

With a personal connection to significant loss through her daughter's severe disability from a birth injury, Beth brings empathy to her role as a contributing writer for the Mesothelioma Veterans Center. She is particularly attuned to others dealing with significant health challenges like mesothelioma.
