Many of our patient advocates have loved ones who served in the U.S. military or have experienced cancer personally. Drawing on these experiences, our advocates know what you’re going through and are committed to helping you get VA benefits, medical care, and family support.

Liz has over 20 years of experience in helping patients facing cancer, with more than a decade in oncology nursing specifically.
She can help you find top mesothelioma doctors and hospitals near you, and enroll in clinical trials testing new treatments.
Amy Fair, RN Registered Nurse & Patient Advocate
Amy has worked directly with mesothelioma patients and their families for over 25 years, connecting them with the help they deserve.
Today, Amy is proud to help families impacted by this rare cancer understand their treatment options and get medical treatment.
Lindsey Rotnem Oncology Social Worker
Lindsey is an experienced cancer social worker who has over 15 years of experience helping cancer patients.
She leads our mesothelioma support group, which meets monthly so patients connect with others and get tips on managing this cancer.
Marisa Moller Patient Advocate
Marisa is proud to assist U.S. veterans and family members who are impacted by cancers such as mesothelioma.
Marisa’s uncle passed away from cancer, so she truly understands what you’re going through and works to support you.
Frances Morales Patient Advocate
Frances has helped U.S. veterans and their families learn about essential medical and legal resources for over 10 years.
Like many of our other staff, Frances’ family has been impacted by cancer. Her sister-in-law developed cancer in 2010, so she deeply understands what you’re going through.
Ana Munoz Patient Advocate
Ana brings advocacy and elder-caregiving experience to support those affected by mesothelioma.
Ana used to work as a caregiver for seniors along with her family, and brings that history to assist patients here.
Claudia Pineda Patient Advocate
With family who served in the military and loved ones affected by cancer, Claudia is proud to help veterans like you.
Claudia lost her beloved grandmother to cancer, and her parents have a background in supporting older adults, making her well-equipped to support veterans.
Lauren Ryder Patient Advocate
Having lost her father, who served in the U.S. Army, to lung cancer, Lauren is honored to support veterans today.
Lauren has more than a decade of experience assisting families, and will listen to your story with compassion.
