Lauren Ryder

10+ Years of Experience
Lauren Ryder is a caring, compassionate, and experienced patient advocate at the Mesothelioma Veterans Center. She has more than a decade of experience helping mesothelioma patients and their families.

Like many of our staff members, Lauren’s life has been affected by cancer.

Lauren's father, who served in the U.S. Air Force when asbestos was widely used, passed away from lung cancer in 2009. Her sister has also fought ovarian cancer.

Because of these experiences, Lauren empathizes with cancer patients, treating them as if they were her own family members.

Lauren grew up in Massachusetts, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from Framingham State University. She currently lives in Maine with her husband, son, and dog.

Serving the cancer community with a compassionate heart, Lauren will listen to your story and do everything she can to help you and your loved ones during this difficult time.
