Debra is deeply familiar with the unique struggles that U.S. military veterans face. Many of her family members, including her parents and two brothers, are veterans.
Prior to joining the Mesothelioma Veterans Center team, she helped those in crisis as a 911 call taker.
Debra also has a personal connection to legal injustice. Her husband was injured during a medical procedure, and the medical center that cared for him was dishonest about what happened. By the time she and her husband found an attorney, too much time had passed and they could no longer take legal action.
Debra knows that veterans with mesothelioma were harmed due to the dishonesty and greed of asbestos companies — and that time is limited to file a legal claim. She strongly believes that people who were harmed must take legal action as soon as they can.
Debra and the other patient advocates at the Mesothelioma Veterans Center are ready to help you and your family take action after a mesothelioma diagnosis.
