Michael has strong ties to the veteran community. His grandfather, father, two uncles, and cousin all served in the U.S. military. Because of these personal connections, Michael feels a duty to assist those who served in the military.
“Veterans are highly afflicted by this disease, and with such strong family connections to the U.S. military, I want to do whatever I can to help them.”
—Michael Moesch, Mesothelioma Veterans Center Co-Founder
Michael understands the devastating impact that mesothelioma can have on families. For example, this form of cancer is very aggressive and treatments can be expensive. He is also mindful of the fact that one in three mesothelioma patients is a U.S. veteran, as the military used asbestos-based products for decades without knowing the risks associated with prolonged exposure.
He is proud to know that he co-founded a website that has helped hundreds of U.S. veterans so far and will help many more in the future.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida and an associate’s degree in business administration from Indian River State College. He currently lives in the greater Orlando, Florida, area and enjoys fishing, studying history, and taking trips to the gun range.
